Stand Up Placer is dedicated to the empowerment of Placer County survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking as they heal from their trauma and create lives of strength and self-sufficiency.
Stand Up Placer provides a comprehensive array of services that help survivors to determine and achieve their own goals. Our major services include a 24-hour crisis line, emergency safe house, emergency food and clothing, job readiness training and search assistance, financial mentoring and coaching, a children's advocate for safe house residents, individual, family, child and group therapy in the safe house and service offices, case management, legal advocacy, assistance, and court accompaniment, and a supportive housing program. Survivors who do not require emergency shelter access services at our Roseville and Auburn offices. We operate the Rape Crisis Center for Placer County, providing hospital accompaniment, advocacy, support and follow up for sexual assault victims through the Sexual Assault Response Team (SART). In 2016, Stand Up Placer became a triple agency with the addition of our Human Trafficking Victim Assistance Program. In 2019, we added a Legal Assistance Program to assist survivors who need the help of an attorney. To help create a stronger, safer community, we provide prevention programming for local schools, workplaces, and community organizations.
